Jeffrey Harrier of Warring Avenue Entertainment has optioned the feature script 'Fourth Generation' from InkTip scribe Foster Marks. Harrier found the script when Marks submitted to his lead in one of our newsletters. They currently have a director attached and plan to begin production next year!

Gregg Watt, an independent filmmaker based in Cape Town, has completed production on the short script 'Cross The Line' by Daniel Hughes, which he found on InkTip. Watt's previous short, 'The Dashing Diner,' screened at Cannes Film Market in 2005.

Gena Ellis's short script 'Angela's Decision' was found on InkTip in 2005 by Australian award-winning director Mat King. The film has been completed and is being entered in festivals, already winning awards for cinematography. 'Angela's Decision' was directed by Mat King, produced by King and Kate Croser, and co-produced by Ellis. It stars up-and-coming actors Rhiannon Owen and Xavier Samuel. Ace Cruz of Spirit Films discovered and hired produced screenwriter Chris Soth of MillionDollarScreenwriting.com through InkTip's newsletter, and their new movie is scheduled to shoot in February. Spirit Films is a Los Angeles based production company that completed production on 'The Golem,' a horror script also found through InkTip. Drimtim Entertainment S.A. has bought scribe Michael Salort's feature script 'Hidden Camera,' which they found on InkTip. The company originally contacted Salort about his script two years ago. Now Drimtim will be coproducing the script with Endemol. Production currently is scheduled to start in Spain this winter. Sony will distribute the completed film.

Michelle Purple & Jessica Biel of Iron Ocean Films have optioned the short script 'Hole in the Paper Sky' by writer Howard Kingkade. Purple discovered the short on InkTip. Biel, who will be starring in the film, is producing the project with Purple and casting is underway for the male lead. Purple's credits include 'XXX' and 'Stealth.' Biel's credits include 'Home of the Brave,' 'The Illusionist,' and 'Elizabethtown.'

Director Rob Walker has optioned the feature script '83' from InkTip writer Byron Lester. Walker discovered the script on InkTip while searching for feature screenplays this past summer. Lester recently optioned his short script 'First Date 101' off of InkTip. Walker completed production on the feature film 'After Midnight' this year, written by Carol Mulholland, another InkTip scribe.

After Pill submitted 'Shelly Greenberg is Fine' for review through our newsletter, Panebianco loved her writing and thought they were a perfect fit. Pill works fulltime as a writer and is a contributing editor with Discovery Girls magazine. We are happy to announce that the animated opening credits in Indiewood Pictures' 'Fall Into Me' just won a GOLD AWARD from Create magazine's CREATE AWARDS. The GOLD AWARD was in the category of PRODUCTION/POST PRODUCTION, MOVIE/TELEVISION CREDITS/OPENINGS. Only 140 gold awards were awarded out of the over 1,500 entries from creatives all around the country. Fuzzy Duck Studios, a Minneapolis-based visual development and animation firm, produced the animation and helped bring the concept to life. Fuzzy Duck Studios and its team did a great job. 'Fall Into Me' was highlighted in The InkTip Magazine June 2006 this year.

Leslie Farrell of Feral Entertainment has optioned the one-hour television script 'Detroit Central' from InkTip scribe Kevin Sielky. The script was the Grand Prize winner of the 7th People's Pilot TV writing competition. Farrell and Sielky are attached as executive producers and Academy Award winner Lou Gossett Jr. is attached in a starring role. Farrell has been a producer on shows airing on MTV, HBO, Bravo, and The History Channel.

American Stonehenge Productions produced the feature film '8 of Diamonds,' also written by Pizzo, earlier this year. Basulto discovered Felix after posting a request for writers in our weekly newsletter. This is not the first writing assignment for Felix, whose current script 'The Big Four Oh' has made it to the semi-finals of the Writers on the Storm contest. Basulto directed the feature film 'The Clique' written by InkTip writer Monica Ortiz in 2004.

Matt Compton, Eduardo Sanchez, and Gregg Hale of White Ape Pictures have optioned the feature script "Despair'ul" from writer Philip Daay. Sanchez and Hale were two of the co-creators of "The Blair Witch Project." More recently, Sanchez and Hale worked with Compton on the film "Altered", a script penned by Jamie Nash (which was also discovered on InkTip!). "Altered" will hit DVD shelves in December. Philip also wrote 'Left in Darkness,' which was produced by Cannell Studios, and will have a worldwide DVD release this Sept. 19!

Representing Allan in the deal was his entertainment attorney Elsa Ramo of the Law Offices of Elsa Ramo based in Beverly Hills, CA. This project has been in the works for 5 years and has just been completed and is co-written by Domenic & Oxana Leo. The authors have also agreed to assign Szabo to edit their first manuscript. Szabo is currently writing and directing the 1st of 15 short screenplays (a series) beginning this July.

Gregory Steiner of Q Station discovered the script 'Bumping Off Bart' by scribe Malcolm McClintick through our site. Principal photography was scheduled to start July 10th. The film has a great ensemble cast with stars Bryan Power, Michael Kebe, Elisabeth Boggio, Bruce Linser ('Drop Dead Gorgeous') and David William Cabrera as Burt. Steiner will be producing and directing the project through his production company Q Station, a full service film and television production company located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. They own all of our own equipment for production, and have a full post-production sound studio large enough to accommodate a small chamber orchestra. McClintick is a published writer.

During the past week, at the Cannes Film Festival, Buzzmedia Network concluded the brokerage of the option of InkTip scribe David Carren's screenplay, 'Black,' by Netherlands based production company, Sweetwater Pictures. The deal was concluded approximately six months after Carren first sent the script to Buzzmedia Network, the development company of film director Heinrich Dahms ('My Daughter's Keeper', Miramax, 1993). Sweetwater Pictures is the production company of director/producer Heinrich Dahms and producer Peter van Vogelpoel ('Breaking the Waves,' 'The Idiots'). Dahms and Van Vogelpoel, who pitched the project intensively at the Cannes Film Festival over the past week, are in advanced talks with a major UK sales agent for world sales. The project is slated for production in late 2006 with a predominantly US cast. Scribe Carren is also in pre-production on a thriller, '87 Minutes,' that he co-wrote and is co-producing with Pavan Grover at Pav Films. His horror film, 'Mr. Hell,' has been released on DVD, and he has numerous television produced credits including 'Star Trek,' 'Stargate,' 'Murder, She Wrote,' and 'Diagnosis Murder.'

Roarty that they optioned earlier this year, and are being animated in 3D. They have already started production on 'When Heroes Die' and are looking to complete the edit early this summer. This will be Jon Baldasari's first produced project.

Treasure Entertainment optioned 'Move The Crowd,' a hip-hop version of 'Wall Street,' in 2003, from Kirk Gibbs after finding him on InkTip. The project is now set up with Omar McGee ('Flintown Kids') directing, and they have just attached rap stars Talib Kweli and DMX to the project. William Morris is representing the project and production is scheduled to start this summer. Treasure Entertainment's film 'Harsh Times,' starring Christian Bale, Eva Longoria, JK Simmons, Terry Crews and Freddy Rodriguez is scheduled for release by Bauer Martinez and MGM this June; their NBA documentary 'Flintown Kids,' featuring hoop stars LeBron James, Jason Richardson, Mateen Cleaves, Chucky Atkins and Morris Peterson, will be released on DVD this year by Image Entertainment; and their horror/Western 'High Midnight,' to be helmed by 'Pet Sematary' director Mary Lambert, will begin shooting in New Mexico this fall. In addition to features, Treasure Entertainment produces music videos and commercials, manages writers and directors and serves as a sales agent for feature acquisitions.

Australian production company All At Once has optioned Mischa Ayoub's 'My Friend Gabe' through InkTip's newsletter. All At Once is spearheaded by Melissa Beauford and Kieran Galvin and based in Sydney and Melbourne. Recent projects include Galvin's feature film 'Puppy' which will open in Australian and New Zealand cinemas on 29 June, and 'Feed' which was helmed by U.S. cult director Brett Leonard ('Lawnmower Man', 'Virtuosity', 'Man-Thing'). 'Feed' will be released in the U.S. by TLA Releasing. This is not the first option for Ayoub, who has had work optioned from InkTip in the past.

Jay So, a producer representing Film Aesthetics.LLC in Los Angeles, has optioned the hilarious college sex comedy, 'The Road to Intercourse', written by Larry Postel. Under another shingle, AMG-Media, he has previously optioned a modern day Frankenstein horror/thriller 'Skeleton Wreck' and a bone-chilling horror/mystery 'Flicker,' both written by Keith Robinson. All three scripts were found via InkTip's site. 'Flicker' is currently nearing pre-production stage with Rob Schmidt ('Wrong Turn') to direct in 2006. Jay is open to co-production/co-financing opportunities with other producers. Postel currently has another script, 'Creepy Movie', in preproduction, scheduled for an early summer shoot.

Award winning film & TV producer Sasha King, founder of Princess Pictures, has just completed shooting the NIFTC-funded short film 'The Hotel Trade' by InkTip scribe Benedict R. Fancy in Co Down, Northern Ireland. King also produced the controversial TV documentary on celebrity chef Conrad Gallagher that obtained record TV ratings when broadcast. One of her short films, 'Nostradamus and Me', funded by New Line Cinema, won the Galway Film Festival 2004. Princess also produces music projects including the soundtracks for international release of TV series 'Bachelors Walk' and 'Pure Mule' and manages the NYC / Dublin rock band Communal. Martin Brennan directed 'The Hotel Trade.' He comes from an assistant directing background, and previously directed the NIFTC/Lottery funded short film 'Soldier'. He is currently working on the script for his first feature film 'The Fairy Tree' with co-writer Michael B. Jackson. Benedict R. Fancy was the 5th finalist in the 2003 American Gem Short Script Competition.

Little Studio Films has signed director Marco Della Fonte, whom they found through InkTip. They optioned his script 'International Departures' and have been working on developing it. The film, budgeted at $8 million US, is in the vein of 'Crash,' five stories taking place in five airports with the overall theme that explores the meaning of having an identity. They are going into production in July. Casting is currently underway, and they are in ongoing negotiations with A-list talent. In Tandem Films, a leading, UK-based worldwide distributor, will also be executive producing. Its founder, Gary Smith, ran Winchester Film for many years. The film will be produced by Little Studio Films' theatrical production company, Tornado Pictures. Producers are Alexia Melocchi and Alexandra Yacovlef. Marco Della Fonte is directing the film.

Scribe Richard Lasser is writing a script based on a story idea about landmines by Kieth Merrill and Douglas Memmot. Merrill of Kieth Merrill Productions found Lasser through our network. Lasser is working with demining experts at the US State Department and various NGO's who have done demining to give the script the proper verisimilitude. Lasser has done quite a bit of collaborating in the past and has been hired by numerous production companies.
