The Czech incentives scheme is administrated by the State Cinematography Fund and offers filmmakers cash rebates on qualifying Czech and international spend.
Applies to film and TV, including all post-production work
20% rebate on qualifying Czech spending
66% rebate on withholding tax paid in the Czech Republic by international cast & crew
Minimum expenditure levels and cultural test required
No cap on per-project grant
No sunset date

Ostrava is a film-friendly region and one of the first ones to work closely with the Czech Film Commission to attract audiovisual productions to the region. Ostrava welcomes film productions, offering them assistance and support in the implementation of their projects.
We will help you to:
-find suitable locations
-provide a tour of the locations
-negotiate with the operators and owners of the locations
-coordinate meetings with local authorities and the police
-get filming permits
-provide accommodation and/or transport
