Though InkTip appreciates receiving ‘screenplay facilitation’ credit, we are in no way attached to any of the films facilitated by our services nor do we take a percentage.
Registered Entertainment Pros
This is only a partial list of the more than 2600
industry professionals who have access to our writers' scripts.
Some of these companies are new, but because of industry references,
contacts and major roles in other production companies, it is to the writers
benefit to grant them access.
Examples of types of companies and individuals
that would have access to writers' scripts would
include: studio executives, producers, production
companies, established directors and actors, companies
with no produced credits that have provided proof
that they have the funds and/or ability to make
a film, production companies with credits in foreign
countries, etc. You can find many of these companies
at www.IMDb.com.
The criteria we use in deciding whether or not
a person should be allowed access to writers'
scripts include: trade references, credits, resources
and the individual's potential to get a film produced.
Finally, we ask ourselves, if we were writers,
would we want to submit one of our scripts to
this entertainment professional? We can tell you
that there have been individuals listed in the
Creative Directories that we've denied membership.
Also, many of these directories don't provide
the date of a producer's last credit. Often, a
young, less experienced producer has more potential
to get a project produced than an experienced
one.
Our advantage is that we are able to insist upon checking references,
credits and potential: something writers are often unable to do.
