Perfect your writing by collaborating with industry pros.
NorthernPros Creations offers a variety of helpful tools to beginning and
seasoned writers via its online portal NorthernPros.com. Whether you're
writing a novel, or your first script, or submitting a project to contests,
agents, or producers, NorthernPros can help!
The NorthernPros Editorial Service began by helping writers prepare their
manuscripts for publication in journals, newspapers, online and in print.
Before long, NorthernPros ventured into screenplay analysis with great success.
Because of our vast range of expertise, NorthernPros editors address all
areas of manuscript and screenplay development. Our goal is to help you
perfect your writing.
The NorthernPros Screenplay Analysis is an expert review of your screenplay.
Our editors will carefully read and evaluate your screenplay for its intended
audience. All levels of screenplay development are welcome for this service.
Our Screenplay Analyst is Wendy A. Goldman.
Goldman began her professional career as an actress. A transition into
film development quickly led her into executive positions at Magnusfilms,
The Polone Company, and The Knight Company, where she was involved in every
aspect of filmmaking & development, physical production and post-production.
In addition to her work with NorthernPros, Goldman is a member of the Board
of the Monterey County Film Commission, where she heads the committee that
oversees the annual Monterey Screenplay Competition. In her capacity as
Literary Consultant, Goldman is attached as producer to several novels that
are currently being pitched to producers and agents.
NorthernPros offers expert screenplay critique and editing, at reasonable
prices with a quick turnaround.
We can also help you compose an expert logline, submission letter, 'selling
pages' and/or a screenplay synopsis. This service is objective, professional,
and in-depth.
The staff at NorthernPros.com stays in regular contact with agents and
studio and network executives, in order to keep abreast of current script
sales and the needs of producers who are looking for material to put into
development.
The writing process is difficult, any writer can tell you that. The ones
who "make it" are the ones who persist. The old adage is true:
writing is twenty percent talent and eighty percent editing. But what the
adage doesn't suggest is there are ways to make this process less painful,
by collaborating with industry professionals who can guide you through the
process, and help you polish your material before you submit it to contests,
agents and producers.
For a comprehensive critique of your script, including in-depth editorial
and story notes, submissions should not exceed industry standard length
(90-120 pages) for feature-length scripts. This service is $300.
It is the sole responsibility of authors to protect the authorship of their
submitted screenplays by registering their work with the Writers Guild of
America.
