The Coverage Factor
Biography:

Crystal D. Stevens began her career as a reader for Academy Award winning director, Lee Grant, at her production company in NYC. She went on to attend college at Marymount Manhattan College where she double-majored in both Communication Arts and English, giving her a solid foundation in story telling arts. Later on, she read scripts for Johnny Boston on Raw Films in NY and then at Fever-Dreams Films, LLC. She was made Director of Development for producer, Carl Morano of Fever-Dreams Films in NYC. She has taught a screenwriting workshop for new writers at FVA, also in NY. More recently, she has optioned her feature, The Big Break, for a six figure purchase price. She is also slated to teach online for a school in the UK. Ms. Stevens has ghost written nearly 25 feature scripts over the last 3 years and also placed in the top 15% at Nicholl with her first script, Organized Criminal (which is currently being marketed by her Manager, Tim Lambert of ABM in NY). One of her clients went on to place in the quarterfinals at the Coverage Inc., screenwriting contest.

- Characters
- Theme(s)
- Format
- Logline

Also provided with the basic coverage/feedback are general suggestions about the direction in which the script can be taken to make the story better.

The purpose of development is to provide detailed suggestions on how your screenplay can be made better. As with the basic coverage/feedback, scripts undergoing development are reviewed by two industry readers.
